A need for a new webcam

Our webcam has been used for years and I was not needing much to upgrade such gadget although whenever we use skype to chat online with my folks back home, we do notice that the camera flickers with a lot of white noise background which is very annoying to look at.

Hubby just ordered online and let's see what it may give us an advantage. I wasn't able to pick up the name of the brand since hubby ordered it online while I was busy attending to baby's need. Anyway hope that the resolution will be just fine as well as the speed of it.

I do feel incomplete and lacking if I don't seem to talk to my family back home. In fact I feel homesick already, probably it is one of the annoying feeling of Postnatal period, arghh! The hormones may have caused me to feel a bit more sad and feeling all alone.

I only grab the courage everyday to God who is always there for me and my family. I have nothing else to turn to during these moments. I am just so thankful everyday for the love of God that He is always protecting and guiding me and my family. Will be posting the picture of the camera soon and together with the specifications, about a review, I will but I will be posting it on my other blog site. Have a happy Sunday today!

Plaque of Appreciation

Two days ago hubby handed me his plaque of appreciation from 3G. It was a MNC company that caters communication services in UK.

plaque1

It was another milestone for hubby to retain his work in such great company. We have been blessed by God and we are thankful also for this appreciation although still wishing that he will also level up in status of work there.

Anyway, as long as he is happy with his current job and he is competent enough to finish his goals, I am all through out supporting him.

Thank you 3G for the wonderful plaque and the incentives you give your employees. God bless.

Before, DFA(Department of Foreign Affairs) used to ban countries that has issues like civil war and compromises the security of OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers)particularly the recent issues in countries like Libya,Syria and other Middle East countries.

Now they have added 41 countries in their list because of reasons that does not abide law with regards to RA10022. I really felt sad about it, but I do hope they will be able to give other OFW's a chance to work somewhere else since there is not much job vacancy in the Philippines.

Here is the list of the 41 countries covered by the OFW deployment ban:

Name of country and number of OFWs based on the POEA Compendium of OFW Statistics (2010)

1. Afghanistan (21)

4. Cambodia (1,499)
5. Cayman Islands (929)
6. Chad (807)
7. Croatia (33)
8. Cuba (555)
9. North Korea - N/A (combined with S. Korea 11,697)
10. Dominica - N/A

16. Kyrgyzstan (25)
17. Lebanon (1,327)
18. Lesotho (43)
19. Libya (11,604)
20. Mali (145)
21. Mauritania (67)
22. Montenegro (5)
23. Mozambique (566)
24. Nauru (10)
25. Nepal (10)
26. Niger (N/A)
27. Pakistan (383)
28. Palestine (N/A)
29. Serbia (3)
30. St. Kitts and Nevis (4)
31. St. Lucia (3)
32. St. Vincent & the Grenadines (8)
33. Sudan (1,441)
34. Swaziland (49)
35. Tajikistan (N/A)
36. Tonga (6)
37. Turks and Caicos (74)
38. Tuvalu (N/A)
39. US Virgin Islands (82)
40. Vanuatu (39)
41. Zimbabwe (19)

Cited as unsuitable for Filipino workers and these countries does not abide the International convention to protect migrant workers particularly Filipinos.

Out of these 41 countries, there are 22 countries with international operating companies that is said to honor Republic Act 10022, so only 256 OFW's will be affected.

DFA will just finish the contract of the said OFWs in these banned countries and the next step is to work on the bilateral agreement in the Middle Eastern countries where there are more cases of OFW abuse.

Get ready for sleep deprivation

Well my system is still adjusting being a new mommy and this includes the sleeping and waking hours of our baby. I do tend to keep myself awake when he is awake and sleep whenever he sleeps.

Photobucket

But since there are still things to do at home and there is no one to turn to whenever hubby goes back to work, I find it so hard because I feel tense and stressed about it whenever I feel so alone and that I wanted someone to be with me to accompany me, teach me things I should have known even more and being a first time mom is the most nerve wrecking for me. I really do appreciate now my mom and wish that she will just be here with me to take care of me or assist me.

But anyway, I cannot do much but just talk to them online. I will be expecting my MIL to arrive after five days and I will really appreciate it since she will be a great help for me since I don't want to rush working since my mom said to keep calm and don't tend to do heavy work which is never gonna be good to my body.Hoping to update as much of what my other blogs need whenever mom in law arrives.

August pay from FoodieBlogroll

This is the second payout I got from foodie blogroll. I don't usually get excited to it but it was still fun to receive such an amount. It was a revenue sharing program that once you are a member of their site and you have submitted to them your blog site, once they approve it, you will get a chance to put an ads on your own site.

I don't have any idea about how they compute the sharing program but anyway as long as I get something out of it, I am already happy to it. It was really too small to pay for the price for a months traffic, but what else can I put up with since they pay you anyway without a threshold and they will pay you three months behind.

So that is why, what I posted here was their payment from the month of August and obviously, you can check that the pay was given just yesterday. Anyway, I would still like to thank Foodie blogroll for the payout, wish I can do better to add my revenue.

Enjoying Vouchers and Free Coupons

Hubby just started to like free vouchers and coupons he gets online. At first, it was a free gift offered at his office where he can choose to buy something he like. I don't know what it will be but the voucher was given as his birthday gift. He still did not claim it yet although what he did enjoyed today was the free coupon given by Makemytrip.com.

It was a site where he reserved my mom-in-laws flight via booking it online. When he checked his email, he got a free coupon from Firstcry.com courtesy of Makemytrip.com. If you remember, we did purchase online on firstcry.com so he got excited to get a Rs300.00 worth of coupon that he can purchase on the site.

Without any hesitation, he did use the free coupon and purchased a nose cleaner for baby and it was worth Rs350.00 so he did just pay Rs50 since his coupon is worth Rs300.00 It will be delivered after 3 business days and the item is worth it since we already purchased from this site.
